Each carpet kit is made to order and designed to fit your vehicle's exact year, make and model. This kit is made from nylon carpet with an OE-style welded heal pad and it includes easy-to-follow installation instructions. Our molded carpet is designed to fit the floor pan of your vehicle so there are no pockets of loose fitting carpet. We use a heavy Jute pad bonded to the underside of the carpet, which softens the floors for your feet, as well as deaden any sounds from under the vehicle.

Identification: Common. Wings light brown with many wavy to scalloped dark gray and black lines. Wing edges are darker. Light brown patch runs from base, widening to about mid-wing and has a small black spot.
Similar Species: Apparently resembles wing shape and size of Eupithecia species.
Size: Wingspan 25 to 32 mm. About 10 to 12 mm long.
Habitat: Deciduous forests and edges.
Food: Virgin’s Bower (Clematis).
Flight Time: May to July and again from September to October.
Life Cycle: Two generations per year. Larva are brownish with black diamond shapes running along the top of the caterpillar.
Comments: Listed for Ontario…somewhere. But not listed for Essex or Kent county.

Toothed Brown Carpet Xanthorhoe lacustrata
Family: Geometer Geometroidea
Carpets Larentiinae
Identification: Common. Front wings variously striped, base is light reddish-brown, wing center is brown and wing ends are white with some reddish.
Similar Species: Red Twinspot (Xanthorhoe ferruata) has a darker reddish base and a distinct reddish area near outer wing tip.
Size: Wingspan 25 mm. About 10 to 12 mm long.
Food: Blackberry, hawthorn and willow. Also Jewelweed and Touch-Me-Not (Impatients).
Flight Time: April to September.
Life Cycle: Two generations per year.
Comments: Listed generally for Ontario, but not listed for Essex or Kent county.
